The Eau Claire Plaza is temporarily closed for redevelopment.

There are three other access points leading onto the island.

1. The pedestrian footbridge at the end of 2nd Street SW, directly east of Eau Claire Market.
2. From Eau Claire Avenue SW and 6th Street, near the Peace Bridge.
3. From Memorial Drive NW, crossing Memorial Drive and the Bow River via the bridge at the Calgary Curling Club.

River Café has no designated parking. The Eau Claire Market area offers public parking. Underground heated parking is available below Eau Claire Market. There is plenty of street parking on 5th and 6th Streets SW, and on the North side of the river off Memorial Drive, Near the Curling Club, there is a Calgary Parking Authority parking lot with free parking after 6 p.m.
