Slow Food is a global, grassroots organization with supporters in 150 countries around the world who are linking the pleasure of good food with a commitment to their community and the environment.

The local chapter of Slow Food has as its mandate to make connections between consumers, chefs, food processors and producers of sustainable agricultural products. Build public awareness of local farmers’ products and acknowledging the restaurants and processors who support them.

Ocean Wise is a Vancouver Aquarium conservation program created to educate and empower consumers about the issues surrounding sustainable seafood.
